Purpose and scope
The Buyer’s Desk aims to help podcasters, webinar hosts, YouTubers and long-form creators assess AI video-repurposing tools. Reviews should operate as investigations, comparisons as practical buying guides and tutorials as experienced creator advice.
Evidence before conclusions
ChooseMyAI separates verified facts, vendor claims, observed test evidence, editorial judgement, assumptions and forecasts. A product will not receive a score, winner label or recommendation before the underlying comparison record supports it. The current public state is tests planned, no comparative results published, no ratings, no winner and no recommendation.
Testing standards
Comparable products should receive the same source footage and materially consistent tasks. Reports should describe relevant plans, settings, dates, limitations, correction time, output failures and the amount of human work needed. A free review account, gifted access or vendor briefing will be disclosed where it could reasonably affect a reader’s assessment.
Sources and verification
Current official documentation is preferred for product terms, pricing, affiliate conditions and technical claims. Important claims should be checked against primary evidence where reasonably possible. Product-name search results, normalised trend data and market research from another country will be described with their limitations.
Commercial separation
Affiliate commission, advertising, sponsorship, referral arrangements and other benefits do not buy a conclusion. Paid or controlled content will be labelled. Commercial partners may correct verifiable factual errors but do not receive a right to suppress criticism or approve independent conclusions.
Corrections and updates
Material factual errors will be corrected promptly once verified. A correction should preserve an intelligible record of what materially changed, why and when. Product updates may require retesting rather than silent rewriting. Minor spelling, formatting and clarity changes need not carry a formal correction note.
Conflicts, authorship and responsibility
Relevant financial, employment, personal or product relationships should be disclosed to the editor and to readers where material. Bylines and testing credits will be used only where the stated person performed the relevant work. Editorial responsibility remains with ChooseMyAI.
